British forces have denied rumors they released a plague of ferocious badgers into the Iraqi city of Basra...UK military spokesman Major Mike Shearer said: "We can categorically state that we have not released man-eating badgers into the area."So...the forces charged with protecting Basrans from the insurgents are not merely incapable of solving a badger problem, they're actually so mistrusted by their protectees that they are blamed for the badger problem.
It would be funny if it weren't so tragic.
